Infraestructure

In line with the strong growth experienced by Santo Tomás over the recent years, and pursuant to its commitment to develop a quality educational project, this institution has made a strong investment in structure and equipment.

Consequently, as of 2009, it defined an investment plan aimed mainly at providing the necessary infrastructure and equipment, in consonance with today’s technological advancement and usual professional practices,  to all Santo Tomás’s campuses from Arica down to Punta Arenas.

Avenida 18 de Septiembre # 1231

Arica Campus

The campus located in 18 de Septiembre street is a 2,900-square-meter project added to the growth plan of Santo Tomás regionally and nationwide. It is a 5-storey building made out of exposed concrete and a panoramic terrace on top. It has available classrooms, specific laboratories, administrative-teaching units, an auditorium to accommodate up to 90 people, and a major students library.

Ruta 5 Norte #1068

La Serena Campus

The campus located at Ruta 5 Norte occupies one of the most modern constructions owned by Santo Tomás in the country to carry out its training work within a surface area of 14 thousand square meters, with its infrastructure covering 5,400 square meters..

O’Carrol #63

Rancagua Campus

The second phase of the O’Carrol  campus project, in Rancagua, has been conceived as supplementary to the existing building, adding over 5,700 square meters. The whole compound has been planned as three volumes  connected by four storeys, plus a basement area housing classrooms, specific laboratories, administrattive-teaching units, a new library, and a conference hall to accommodate up to 150 people.

Sede Avenida Prat #855

Concepción Campus

The second phase of the Prat campus, in Concepción, has been designed an an extension of the initial scheme, which integrates the building to the public space through a gallery down the street and a Boulevard at the back of the building. 
This implementation will double the number of square meters that make up the campus, which will consist of 15,200 square meters distributed between 6 storeys, plus a basement, thus increasing the area intended for the library, files and the cafeteria. The building will also have available a significant number of classrooms, specific laboratories, administrative-teaching units, and a new double-height multi-purpose room on the first floor.

Sede Mendoza #130

Los Ángeles Campus

The second phase of the Los Angeles project  will conclude the joint proposal conceived for this campus. This initially 1,800-square-meter work will be 6,400 square meters in size; and it has been projected to consist of 5 storeys to be occupied by classrooms, specific laboratories, a cafeteria, an auditorium to accommodate up to 130 people, administrative-teaching units, and a library on the fifth floor.

Temuco Campus

The second phase of the Temuco project  has been planned as a new volume parallel to the existing one, located among significant green areas and functionally connected on the first floor. Renovation of the first floor of the existing building is indicated in the proposal; and this new 5-storey volume will total 11,200 square meters. This project includes classrooms, specific laboratories, administrative-teaching units, a library, and a cafeteria.

Estación Central Campus

With an area of 6 thousand square meters, and an investment of over two million dollars, the new Santo Tomás Estación Central Campus has been equipped with a state-of-the-art infrastructure. It is a four-storey building, plus a basement area, and it is conceived to accommodate 2,700 students.
